Dita Von Teese. The Yost Theater. Santa Ana, California.

In late April I celebrated my 25th birthday. Although I felt really old (don't judge me), I couldn't wait to see Dita Von Teese perform in Santa Ana, California. She recently toured America with her specially picked out performers that she included in her Strip Strip Hooray Burlesque show. The performers' routines were so amazing!
Earlier that day I had to work, but I quickly raced home and got ready! My brother and his fiancée are huge fans of Dita as well so they went with me to the show to celebrate my birthday and to see the fabulous Dita perform!

Upon entering there was a massive line that wrapped around the entire building. We got in pretty much last as compared to everyone else and at that point we had no way of obtaining a spot near the stage. Luckily, some of my friends, who are massive Dita fans, showed up earlier than I did and snagged front row spots and I got to join them! The fact that I got to share a part of my birthday with my brother and his fiancée, seeing my friends, and standing front row to see Dita perform totally made my day great!

The show started an hour later than expected, or what was said on the ticket, and people were starting to get very pushy, drunk, and rude. The security didn't intervene when one of my friends was pushed by a man and his girlfriend, which didn't make all of us feel comfortable. All was well though because when Dita came out everyone forgot about everything and we were all completely mesmerized by her!

Anyway, I'm a pretty calm person who doesn't get excited about many things, but I lost my shit when I saw Dita Von Teese perform. She did her routine martini dance first and I seriously don't know how to explain what I saw. I'm still in shock. I can't believe someone so perfect exists in this world. Dita, you effing killed me!

We weren't allowed to take photos while the performances were going on, due to a strict no photo policy, so I unfortunately didn't get a photo of Dita performing. I will, however, have her image plastered in my head for the rest of my life. She's so gorgeous.
