Notting Hill. LONDON, ENGLAND

A trip to London isn’t
complete without a visit to the famous Notting Hill. If you aren't familiar
with this area of London then let me bring you up date with every bloggers'
photography dream. Notting Hill is located in West London and
it's filled with beautiful colored houses and a weekend street market.
Most of the houses are painted pastel colors and they are just a
dream to take pictures of and with. I saw a few bloggers early in the morning
taking photos around Notting Hill, so I wasn't the only one completely dressed
for the visit!
The market features hundreds of stalls set up on the famous
Portobello Road and vendors sell everything from art, food, vintage clothes, jewelry
and many many many more products. From crepe stands to tattoo parlors,
Portobello Road boasts a vintage seeker's and foodie's dream for a weekend
market. The area reminded me a lot of the Farmer's Market in Los Angeles next
to The Grove or other flee market I've seen in the past.
I walked around the market for a bit, stopped by the Eve Cafe, grabbed myself a coffee and some lunch, purchased a few vintage items from the stalls,
and found a nice little patch of houses to take photos with! Keeping with the vintage inspiration that Portobello Road
features, I wore a 60's inspired Coast dress from ASOS that was an absolute dream to
wear. I fell in love with it right when I saw it in the Coast store and I knew I had
to have it once I tried it on. I paired it with my Charming Charlie clutch
(identical clutch in Nordstrom) and my New Look heels. Any 3/4 length coat
would match this outfit, but I went with my Kenar 60's inspired coat which I
purchased ages ago.
I was very excited to have a chance to finally visit Notting
Hill. I wish that I had more time to spend there, but it started raining and I
just wasn't having that as I had just straightened and styled my hair. Parking
was difficult to find and you had to pay for it in cash, so it's best to take
the tube. There were plenty of interesting and cute cafes around, so if you
ever want to grab a bite to eat in this part of London then you won't be
disappointed.
Thank you for much for stopping by and let me know if you've
been, or want to go, to Notting Hill yourself!
Much love,
Heba xxxx
