Belton House

Grantham, Lincolnshire. England

As you can probably tell I'm a bit obsessed with stately homes. After seeing Belton House in Pride and Prejudice I made to sure visit the home myself when I was given the chance. I'm very much interested in the romantic aspect of these homes as well as the expensive lifestyle that the people who used to live there experienced.

I arrived at Belton House quite late in the day as the sun was disappearing therefore I didn't have a chance to have a tour of the house. I was still excited to walk about the grounds and admire the exterior of the house and the gardens.

I could tell right away that the house has been very well taken care of. The gardens were clearly looked after and they were so beautiful and royalesque. I could happily live at Belton House any day of the year. I really wouldn't mind it. I cannot think of a better place to walk around in the mornings than the gardens in front of Belton House. Had I owned this mansion myself, back in the day, I would probably inform of the housemaids that I would like a cup of tea and some toast when I'm done with my walk.

I would recommend anyone to visit Belton House if they are given the chance. It's such a romantic place to have a picnic and have a wonderful walk about for a nice day if the weather permits it. Although I didn't have the chance to see any deer, apparently they roam the grounds and are quite a sight to see.

I really enjoyed the little time I spent at Belton House. Let me know if you've had the chance to visit the grounds or the home yourself.

Thank you for stopping by and make sure to leave a comment if you get a chance!

Much love,
